Now I need to figure out HOW MUCH to scale down the project so its dimensions are correct. I select the wing which has the outer most point.

Swicth to Point sub-object. Select the outer most point. Make a note of it's X location. It is 152.604 but I want it to be 1/2 the actual wingspan or 46.5 feet. I divide 46.5 by 152.604 and get 0.3047102. This will be my resizing factor.

Now deslect the point, leave point mode and then select all objects except absolute_center and the box.

Click on the UNIFORM scale icon, then Tools and Transform Type-In. Enter the 0.3047102 figure in moving the decimal point to the right 2 places and hit enter.

Now the project is the same width as the box.
